McDonald’s China has released the NFT collection

McDonald’s China has released a collection of non-fungible tokens (NFT) in honor of its 31st anniversary.

McDonald’s will distribute 188 NFT Big Mac Rubik’s Cube on the Conflux blockchain between employees and customers of the establishments.

The design of the tokens is inspired by the appearance of the company’s new office, built specifically for the anniversary of the launch.

The controlling stake in the Chinese McDonald’s belongs to the state investment company CITIC Group. The branch issued an NFT amid China’s latest crackdown on the crypto industry.

In September 2021, fast-food chain Burger King launched the “Keep It Real Meals” NFT campaign featuring music artists Nelly, Anitta, and LILHUDDY.

In the same month, McDonald’s, Pizza Hut, and Starbucks in El Salvador began accepting bitcoin as payment after the bitcoin legalization law went into effect.

Recall that in August 2021, the BitXmi crypto exchange launched the BXMI NFT Marketplace, where you can buy gold, silver, diamonds, and arts with zero fees.
